This initial meeting will provide an overall fitness assessment and personalized program development. This session includes body fat measurement, aerobic fitness assessment, alignment evaluation, flexibility testing, nutritional consultation, determination of ayurvedic dosha, goal setting and development of customized program. Musculo-skeletal problems have recently surpassed the common cold as the number one physical ailment. Sadly, few people are aware that pain and spasm are caused by muscular imbalance, poor body mechanics, and carrying excess weight. Oftentimes, back pain is treated with muscle relaxants and anti-inflammatory drugs, and the underlying cause of the pain is ignored. This session is designed to educate the pain sufferer, strengthen the deep supportive core muscles, and stretch muscles that pull the body out of alignment and into pain.
